Music

At The OK Foundation, we believe that music is more than just an art form—it’s a wonderful way to bring people together, heal hearts, and inspire one another. Our fun and engaging music activities aim to spark creativity, build a strong sense of community, and enhance the well-being of everyone who joins us. Music is at the core of our mission to create a welcoming and inclusive space where everyone can experience and enjoy its magic.

We’ve been lucky to host some truly unforgettable events, like our Gospel Gala at Cadogan Hall in 2009. This special night featured a fantastic blend of gospel music and orchestral backing, conducted by the talented Ken Burton and original compositions by Olusegun Kolade Omideyi. It was a night that truly celebrated the power of music and laid the groundwork for our ongoing commitment to providing amazing music experiences for our community.

Our OK Foundation Choir has also enjoyed performing at local events, including the Tottenham Town Hall Carol Service and Wood Green Mall. We love sharing the joy of music with everyone around us! Plus, we run holiday performing arts clubs that allow young people to explore music, drama, and movement in a fun and inclusive environment. We can’t wait for you to join us and be part of our musical journey!

Past Events

Collaborating with Amazing Talent
Over the years, we've been lucky enough to work with some truly incredible musicians and professionals in the music world! We've had the pleasure of teaming up with Muyiwa, the award-winning gospel artist and broadcaster; Ken Burton, the fabulous choral and orchestral conductor; Ashley Henry, the talented jazz musician and BBC 6 Music's Album of the Year nominee; and Zara Hudson-Kuzdoj, an outstanding cellist and cover conductor for the UK tour of *Beauty and the Beast*. These collaborations have filled our community with inspiration and expertise, making our musical experiences richer and more enjoyable for everyone involved.

A Bright Future of Music and Community
At The OK Foundation, music is at the heart of what we do! We're passionate about building a strong community and enhancing well-being through musical experiences. We can't wait to offer even more fun opportunities for people of all ages to dive into music, whether through performing, learning, or simply enjoying the magic of sound.

We're thrilled to keep inspiring, uplifting, and bringing people together through music, with many exciting events, workshops, and performances coming up. Stay tuned for all the fantastic music activities at The OK Foundation, where there's a place for everyone to create, perform, and enjoy the joy of music!
